The employer shall train each employee with
occupational exposure in accordance with the requirements of
this section. Such training must be provided at no cost to
the employee and during working hours. The employer shall
institute a training program and ensure employee
participation in the program. This training
course is for industry and manufacturing, Fortune 500
companies, occupational health, property management,
hospitality, security, and health and fitness staff. In
addition, childcare workers, school personnel, maintenance
workers, tattoo artists, and state corrections facilities
may be interested in the course due to additional state
regulations.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Training
Course Description
The BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide
a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to
recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR,
use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and
effective manner. The course is intended for certified or
noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed healthcare
professionals.

Approximately 3 to 4 hours
Cost
$65.00 per person (2 Year Certification)
Group Rate: $65.00 for the first person then $55.00 for
each additional person

receive the approval without sitting through an entire new
class but gives ample time to refresh their skills.
Course Length
Renewal training is approximately 2.5 hours

Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Training Online Part 1 & Part 2 Skills
Course Description
BLS HCP
Online Part 1 offers a flexible CPR training option for
healthcare professionals. This program recognizes that
healthcare professionals enter the course with knowledge and
skills acquired from prior CPR training and years of patient
care. Part 1
- Students complete the online, cognitive portion of the
course, either at the workplace or anywhere with Internet
access. When students finish the online portion, a
certificate of completion will be available for them to
print. The certificate is required to complete Parts 2
& 3 at an
authorized American Heart Association Training Center.
Parts 2 & 3
-
Students complete the
skills validation test with an American Heart Association
Instructor.
Course Length
Part 1 Online is approximately 1 to 2 hours &
Parts 2
& 3
are approximately 20 - 30 minutes

duty to respond to a first aid or cardiac emergency because
of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements.

Heartsaver®
First Aid Online with
CPR/AED Part 1 Course offers a flexible, time-saving
option for workplaces that need to provide safety training.
The complete course is delivered in three parts. Part 1
delivers the cognitive learning through Web-based,
self-paced modules. Parts 2 and 3 require students to meet
with an American Heart Association Instructor to complete a

(MSHA Training)
Mine Safety (MSHA) training offered in both Part 46 or
Part 48. Safe Steps
Training can provide MSHA training under your plan,
under our MSHA Approved Training Plan, or we can help
you develop a mine training plan as well as get it
approved by MSHA.
Occupational Safety and Health
Training
10 and 30 hour OSHA Outreach Programs Training is
available. Have your employees get their 10 hour OSHA or
30 hour OSHA cards. They can get the training in the
classroom setting or Online.

Safe Steps Training offers training in three different
formats. American Heart Association, National Safety
Council, and American Red Cross. Safe Steps Training has
the experience and expertise to be able to offer you a
choice of training programs. This is something that is
very rare in the area of training consultants.
Emergency Response
Part of a good safety plan is preparing for "What
If." Safe Steps Training helps prepare for that by
offering Industrial Water Safety & Self Rescue, Low and
High Angle Rescue, Confined Space Rescue, Structural
Collapse, and Mechanical Entrapment. |

Just a few policy things;

require a 72-hour notice to cancel/reschedule. Your
payment is non-refundable in the event that the 72-hour
notice is not given. If you fail to give the required
72-hour notice, you may
attend a different training session within 6 months
without incurring any additional fees. We only have this
policy because seating is limited and we need time
to try and fill your seat in the event you cancel.
2.
Seating is limited. Advance enrollment is the only way
to ensure you have a class. Enrollments are based on a first
come, first served basis. To reserve a seat in this
course, the course fee must be received prior to the
course date.
3. We accept Master Card and
Visa credit cards (NOT DEBIT). We also accept cash, checks, and
money orders. To mail your payment, the mailing address

4. Safe
Steps Training reserves the right to cancel a class in
an emergency. We DO NOT cancel for lack of students. If class is cancelled, you will be notified
and transferred to another class of your choice or
refunded your full enrollment fee.

There is an $8.50 charge for AHA Card
Replacement and $12.00 for NSC Replacement.
6. Training at your location
requires a minimum of 6 paid spots (Family & Friends -
10 paid spots). Due to distance, some locations
such as Raleigh, may require more than the minimum of 6
students.
7.
Completion
cards are issued by the American Heart Association and
we have no control over them. Cards typically arrive
